  • How do I get my child in front of college coaches?
I am glad you asked! I played Division 3 golf at Marymount University. Playing for the men's team was a great experience. But I was not on their level. So, I created a women's team! Start by learning what is available on the college level. There are a certain number of scholarships available for D1 & D2 schools. D3 does not allow sports scholarships, but there are plenty of independent scholarship funds that can help. https://www.ajga.org/parents/recruiting/faqs What if there is a specific school I am interested in? I highly recommend visiting https://golfstat.com. Take a look at the scores players are posting from the school you are interested in. That will give you an idea as to whether you are shooting what the coach is looking for. It is always a good idea to visit the athletic website of the school you are looking at. They will have baseline stats to help with your comparison. Wait...Kara, can you help? YES! The LPGA and PGA is full of college coaches. They are always reaching out asking me if I have any potential players. I have excellent relationships with many people who would love to help you on your college journey!
